I usually do well with this build. I prefer to stick to an LFE instead of the XL though. Triple large (x) pulse is also fun.

While I do prefer my 4xERML+HLL build, it's an obviously dangerous build, but just ERMLs and LMGs is more lowkey dangerous.

I found the Blackhawk best played as a wingman and flanker. Always trying to be double teaming opponents. Bide your time and use your maneuverability to secure kills.

I drop the jumpjets and some ammo and run 5 MPL with the 4 LMGs and ECM.

Those are really terrible LAMs. Lots of people are going to die terribly and give them a bad name before they actually get the ability to climb. Until then they're not even good clay pigeons.

3:30 you're nitpicking, because this entire universe is idiotic. The size and mass of the units doesn't corelate with each other, Based on the rule of the cubes, a 30ton mech shouldn't be that much different in height from a similar built 55 ton mech. Like a comando and shadow hawk. But in the game they are like oversized or undersized. Not to mention the 30 or 55 ton vehicles that are similar tech but placed on a tracks chassis or wheeled chassis instead of a walker one. Similar tech so similar density, meaning the mech shouldn't be larger. The mech will be taller while the vehicle will be longer. If you put the mech on it's back it should be more or less same length. Which isn't true in this universe. Because is mech centric, the ther vehicles are made tiny. Crap notion. Now to weapons, For example larger caliber rounds have longer range than smaller ones, meaning an AC20 should be drastically longer range than an AC2 for example. And the maximum 1 km of range is stupid AF. Lasers as well, we have now real life laser weapons that take down planes from the sky...that is a few km away if not a dozen km away. Lets say they are weak, but this would mean, the small laser in BT should also have like a few km of range, not 200m or whatnot.. And then we have the heating from balistic and missile weapons. That's retarded , period. There shouldn't be any heating on the mech from firing balistic or missile systems, and ofc these systems should be build so their rears are also open to allow for the jet burst to escape. You talking about the wings in this game, is nitpicking. Everything is messed up, has zero logic, is stupid anyway. Just enjoy the woob woob, dakka and don't bother with logic. It lacks any form of it.

How risky is it to run with 0 rear armor?

I like the look of these, fun, but not necessarily overpowered, and it gets back to what the legends were supposed to be about, which was imo the outsider quirks (and now hardware).

I've been having fun with the Charger Meme build (1A1, running 96KPH, with 7 small lasers). I've pulled a dozen drops over 1500 damage one of over 2K damage, with an average of ~700...

Do you think the slowdown is in anyway related to the direction of the thrust? I was trying to tell if it fluctuated with the torso turn.

This mech madman TTB had 3 HAG 30's with a dream, and it became their nightmare. That run of weapon releases has been really successful with the HAG's and Binaries.

At the speeds at which the mechs travel, the angle of any surface would have very little effect. A piece of cardboard at a 90° angle would have the same effect as anything for a mech at 100 tons traveling at 100kmh. TL;DR nothing this heavy, traveling this slowly would realize much difference from any optimized flight surface. This is taking into consideration a not ridiculous wingspan

This may work in lower tier play, but I fear that kind of exposure in higher tiers will get you murdered rather quickly.

They seem way too slow. Compared to some LAMs I`ve watched from videos from modded MW5. Being out in the open for that long is dangerous enough. Having this low speed will make you an easy target, instead of providing extra "evasion points"

These are NOT LAMs. It is the Partial Wing system. Completely different from LAMs actually.

Ummm... TTB.... wings don't provide lift regardless of angle of attack when the mech is hovering. Unless there is a strong wind. And with low velocity, the lift from wings is likely negligible.

A large, wide target, moving though the air, in a straight line, exposed with no cover, at <50 kph. I'm sure this is gonna go over great. 😂 I want to be appreciative of them adding something new, "taking risks," etc. But all i can think about is the time and resources put into making something that's going to be DoA, instead of the things players want, or maybe delivering on one of the dozen-or-so features that were promised then scrapped.

LAM's are objectively terrible mechs, even in the lore. This is such a silly thing to add to a game that's already packed with other stupid shit (stares with hatred at mgs being viable against armored targets).

To me it just seems like they are just using gimmicks and OP mechs to extract whatever money they can from the game in the short term while not addressing things that would improve the game long term
